- What motivated you to become a tech nerd this summer?
I was part of the chrome book phase 1, so I have some experience with having chrome books in my classroom. I want to better utilize the chrome books in my classroom to support learning. I am looking for more ideas and ways to motivate my students.
- What you hope to learn about in Tech Nerd Camp 2.0?
I want to develop ways to help my students become digital citizens who can use technology to learn. This year, the students were always a step ahead of me in finding new ways to access information using their chrome books. I want to be the tech nerd of the classroom so I can stay ahead of my students instead.
- How would you describe your current comfort level with technology? What tools do you use already in your classroom (if any)?
I have become so much more comfortable using technology over the past school year. I regularly use Google Classroom and have developed many assignments including presentations using Google Slides. I have introduced my students to numerous websites to support learning this year including spelling city, quizlet, typing web, and kahoot.
